WORLD SERIES DATES FOR 2023 - JULY 25 - 30
Opening Day Activities, July 25, 2023
Opening Day Ceremonies will take place on Tuesday, July 25th at Sportsplex Santee. There will be introductions and a team parade with skills competitions following the ceremonies. Games will begin on Wednesday, July 26th with the last day of the competition on Sunday, July 30th.
Who Play's in this event and who is qualified? This is a destination Global World Series USSSA Event. Teams from all over the U.S. and other countries are welcome to participate. San Diego has one of the best climates in the world, and there are plenty of attractions to enjoy. Pack your bags for a great baseball experience in a beautiful city.

Format
4 pool play games play Wednesday - Friday, Saturday bracket play, and Sunday will be Championship day. All Championships will be played on Sunday, July 3oth.

Event History
The first travel ball World Series in San Diego established in 2008, was sanctioned under BPA under the direction of Elite Diamond Sports.
Elite Diamond Sports has been in business since 2006. The event was sanctioned under different partners up to 2017 and then sanctioned under USSSA in 2017 to the present.
Quality Assurance
Our directors and staff are San Diego residents and know San Diego better than any other tournament staff. We know exactly how many fields suit an event of this nature. We will be capping off the number of teams that can participate to assure teams they are playing on quality fields. What separates us from other tournament promoters is our commitment to use the best fields available in San Diego County, located no more 30 minutes from downtown San Diego.

Gate Fees
$10.00 Gate Fee for ages 16 and over at most of the venues
This is a per-person daily Gate Fee, not a Parking Fee. Up to 4 Coaches per team will be issued entry tickets.
New Format for 2023
Pool Play games will begin on July 26th and be played up to July 28th.
Playoff games will be played on Saturday, July 29th.
Sunday, July 30th will be Championship Day, all games will be played on the best sites which we have established as;
Sweetwater for 9U & 10U
Lakeside for 8U,11U & 12U
Santee Sportsplex 12U & 14U
Poway Sportsplex for 13U
This will allow us to ensure your team plays its championship game at the best sites.
